HOW TO USE THE TICKET TO RIDE CUSTOM BOARD MAKER 1. Make basemap: Go into the project and edit the 1st background. There are also a few included backgrounds; press "A" to cycle through them. 2. Choose large or small trains: press "L" to choose. 3. Place cities: press 0 to select city stamp and place cities wherever you want (click to place one). Press space to switch between regular & special city. 4. Place tracks: press 1-7 to select track length (7 includes super long trains), and space to select track color / shape. Click to place a track. Use arrow keys to rotate. 5. Erase: 8 can be used to erase unwanted tracks. To clear the whole board, press "X" four times quickly. 8 can also be used to modify land / water. Remember, use "L" to change size! 6. City names: It's best to do these after you've placed your tracks. Press 9 and hit space to cycle through letters; place them down as usual. Alternative method: place tracks before placing cities, to ensure accurate spacing. Once you're done making a board, take a picture of it, and use it as reference to make a board in real life! (Not intended to be printed out).
