Our society focuses so much on the standards of beauty, and it has a tremendous impact on young teenagers today--particularly women. We are told that we must conform to how society tells us to look--slender, thin, pretty--and as we get older, that pressure only mounts. We shouldn't have to constantly model ourselves after movie stars and models, because there isn't one certain way that we should conform to. Instead of submitting to that pressure as the story of the poem follows, we should learn to accept that we are enough. ~ Levy
