Kira was *trying* to be mad at Flash. Although, she didn't have to try very hard until she heard him crying in his den, and quickly made the realization that he wasn't going to come out. She wasn't really sure if it was about their fight, but Kira figured Flash didn't like her enough to be bawling his eyes out because they had a little tiff. Flash didn't really seem like the kind to be bawling his eyes out about *anything*. Kira had never seen him cry, so she figured he must be upset about something at least half-way important. Nevertheless, she couldn't help but feel bad for the guy. Buttercup was sleeping in particularly late that day, and Kira would do anything to go a few seconds unnoticed by Blizzard's bone-chilling (get it, because she's an ice mystic?) stare. So, when nobody was looking- and Blizzard's unnerving stare was fixed on someone else- she quietly snuck over to Flash's den. Flash was asleep, and from the sound of how he had been all morning, Kira figured he needed it. So she waited inside for him to wake up, which she decided would probably be soon. Admittedly, it took much longer for Flash to wake up then Kira had suspected. But it still wasn't a *long* time, so it was fine. Flash jumped awake, his eyes shooting open as he got this awful look on his face, not even noticing that there was another person in the den. Kira paused. "....You good..?" she asked quietly. Flash jumped and turned to look at her, eyes wide, before he slowly realized who it was and relaxed a little. "Y-..." He sighed. "Not.. really.." he admitted quietly. The thought that Kira wasn't supposed to be there hadn't even crossed his mind yet, and if it did, it was faint and unimportant. He was just glad there was.. someone. Something to keep his mind away from the nightmares which slept for him while he was awake, waiting for a chance to emerge again. Kira leaned against the wall. "I figured. What's up?" she asked gently. Flash just shrugged. "You'd laugh if I told you." he muttered. Kira yawned. "Try me. I wont laugh." Flash hesitated, shuffling nervously as he wrapped his tail around his paws. "I don't know how to explain it all." Kira just shrugged. "take your time, I'm not in any rush." she half-laughed. Kira's tone was comforting and soft, with a light sort of sound that chased away the darkness in Flash's own voice and head. Flash had to admit, Kira being there made him feel a little better. That.. sick feeling started to go away. Kira brought a little light to his mood, and he appreciated that. He thought for a long time, while Kira waited patiently, watching the bustle of the camp go on from out the doorway. "I've... Well I- I always have these really bad nightmares- a..about stuff back home," He began slowly, stumbling and stuttering over his words, as if he was constantly rethinking what he should say. Kira felt a wave of sympathy for Flash. She'd never seen him act like this before- he was usually so confident, so.. well-.... Lets just say he had a very big ego- but now, he just.. sat there, broken. Kira wondered how long he'd been broken for. Flash waited to see if Kira would say anything before slowly continuing. "...I get them a lot- But they've been.. a lot worse lately.. well- after our.. you know.." He paused, looking back up at Kira, who indeed *did* know. She was about to say something- probably a lighthearted joke, but decided she'd just let Flash talk. And talk he did.
