My whole collection! As the biggest lover of music I know, all 18 of these albums are just a portion of my favorites. The collection's far from complete for me but here's what I got so far: 1: Revolver: Not my favorite Beatles, but I got this one on Christmas. Eleanor Rigby and For No One are cool. 2: Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band! I wouldn't be surprised if this record is the one I've played the most overall. One of the most enjoyable albums all the way through. Such a classic as the first true concept album ever written. (When the songs connect into eachother or each track tells one bigger overall story) A Day in the Life is one of my favorite songs ever fr. 3: Abbey Road: Not much to say. What a classic. 10/10 4: Let it Be: Last Beatles record I own and a great one. 5: Meddle: Got it for Christmas too! Not Pink Floyd's best, but good collection of tracks for any mood. 6: Dark Side of the Moon: Now this is a classic. If you're a progressive rock fan or just want a great listening experience, this is the album. 7: Rumours live! I love putting this one on. Great mix of timeless music and iconic songs, but live. Cool transparent vinyls too! 8: Wish You Were Here! My #1 favorite album of all time. The entire album is incredibly sad and melancholic.. It sounds like nostalgia. Truly takes you to other place and lets your mind interpret what it wants to which is exactly what I like from a concept album. Knowing the band wrote it about their former lead who succumbed to schizophrenia makes it so much better. All I can say is go listen to it lol 9: 52nd Street! Everyone knows at least one song off of here. Super fun album. 10: The Wall... How do I explain this one- Imagine a musical as an album. Anyway, it's probably the first true story album with a protagonist. Great listen if you can spare an hour and a half and if you've seen the movie, I'm sorry :Skull: 11: HOUNDS OF LOVE! My 3rd favorite album ever. I could write an entire paragraph about how much I love this one, but I'll just say that I think it's the #1 album to come out of the 80's and it's just fantastically enjoyable 12: In Utero. I like it over Nevermind which might be a hot take? Idk. Still a grunge classic. 13: OK Computer: Another 10/10 grunge album. I've never met anyone who doesn't like this thing. Everyone can collectively agree it's a perfect project pretty much lol 14: Come Away With Me: This one's special. Back in 2020 and in lockdown when I was anxious all day this music would calm me down and it's just such a vibe. 15: I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning: My 2nd favorite ever! I never expected a modern folk album of all things to rank so high for me, but it just has everything I love about music from the lyricism, the story it's telling, and everything in-between! 16: Tha Carter III: Great collection of songs on this classic. Iconic cover too hehehe 17: KIDS SEE GHOSTS. The replayability on this is insane. Grunge/Hip-Hop fusion is such a vibe and I just love all 7 tracks. 18: Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers! Maybe my 4th or 5th favorite. The storytelling is insane all the way through. As someone who wants to be a therapist, this album definitely speaks to me personally. I can't wait to see what Kendrick does next year at the Super Bowl. That's it! If you're this far I thank you for listening to me yap lol. Umm, comment your favorite album or if there's any questions you have!
