8/29 aswd/arrows. jump in progress. player in progress. function tbd. 9/10 2 players. can't move while jumping. weapon in progress. platformer eventually, 2D 1v1? 11/7 ngl I forgot about this. working on jumping and moving at the same time for smoother gameplay. didn't work it out yet. updated background, colors, etc. 5/8 got bored, came here. somehow managed to get it working by having 2 separate strings, 1 operates going left and one operates jumping, so when they run at the same time running/jumping is possible. could possibly be streamlined, but if ain't broke don't fix it. i want to add slide mechanics, so you can run back and forth and slide around. might get to it before the end of the school year, might not.
basically what I'll do with my free time during school, unless i actually get schoolwork. not gonna amount to anything but maybe playing with a friend if it works well. enjoy ig 5/8/25 did not age well lol. more work, less time. its the end of the year now, just about, so I have some time.
