IT'S DONE I FINISHED YAHHOOO 1. Click the green flag twice. 2. Watch the poem/animation thing 3. If you missed the poem or can't view this project, here it is: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Monster There is a monster inside of me It controls my body and soul I quarantine myself, so as not to hurt others For its intentions are dark as coal. When I come into my house As soon as school is through I go to my room and lock the door And stick in there like glue. I come downstairs only for meals I never receive calls I have no friends, as you can tell I walk alone in the halls Whenever I'm near others I seldom shed a tear But when I am alone, I cry And hug my emotions near. It's a constant fight with this monster I try to control its rage It tries to let loose on others, so I force it back into its cage. Fight this monster, destroy it Fight with all of your will I tell myself every day to try I try to climb up that hill. Once you destroy this monster You can truly be who you are Shoot for the moon, and if you miss You'll still land near a star. ------------------------------------------------------ Main idea of the poem: A girl struggles with a "monster", a voice inside herself that tells her to do things she doesn't want to do. She feels like a slave to this monster, until one day, she had enough... Yes, people. A BACKSTORY! And this time, I'm tackling Lexi.
Feel free to look inside and zoom in for detail Trashykawa is the grandest king of them all -Poem, art, and animation are all by me -Disclaimer #1: I am not the "I" in this poem. I just thought it would be fun to write a poem in the first person. -The music is a piano cover of The Doctor Is Dying by Chameleon Circuit (from Doctor Who), played by KaosAdventus on Youtube. The tune seemed to fit when the poem has its highs and lows and how much impact the words have at times. You'll get what I mean if you watch this. -Disclaimer : I am not a Whovian. My best friend in real life happens to be, and that's how I know that this song actually exists. -The last paragraph is adapted/inspired by Les Brown's quote, "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars." -Yes, I KNOW that the hands are backwards in one of the walk cycles. But that's not the point you should be getting from the entry. -Why do walk cycles have to be so flarping hard? Seriously, people, these take so long to animate. You only know what I'm talking about if you've tried to do a walk cycle before. -I know, it doesn't exactly seem like it should have taken so long. But it's really hard. You try ;w; -The reason that Audrey and Lexi's hair is blowing in one of the scenes is because they're outside and it's windy X3
