[ Beware! There might be some bad words. I should become an author after you guys read this! ] Chapter 1: “The Story.” September 11th, 2001. A day of trauma. A day of sadness. And a day of attacks. So hey guys, I’m TheAngryNewYawkuh. And in this project, I’m talking about how 9/11 affected my life 9 years later. I was born in 2010 so obviously I never saw the event happen. But the sounds of planes, explosions, people screaming.. got stuck into my head. As a Jets fan, I experience sadness. Not only by my team, but by the trauma on that day. Sure people can make stupid offensive memes and think it’s funny, but I don’t. My father and uncle got affected by this. And I’m gonna tell you the story. From what I remember.. in 2001, my uncle and father used to work at a deli in Manhattan. So my mom was at home watching TV. At the time, we didn’t have Apple phones or IPads obviously back then, we used.. flip phones? Hell, I don’t know. Anyway, my uncle was preparing an order for a customer. And keep in mind, the towers were towards the East of the deli. And, my mom called my father and.. this is what she said. “I just saw a plane go into the tower on the news!” So my dad and uncle freaked out, went outside the building, and saw what was described. A big ball of fire. That’s when hell broke loose. God wasn’t with us. The demons were. After that, my father closed the deli and went home. About maybe, 40-50 minutes later at home, they saw a plane hit the south tower. On TV. The why’s just plagued their minds, thinking what the hell is happening? No one knew if it was either a movie shoot, a stunt, or if it was an accident. However, after that second plane.. it was NOT an accident. On just an average day, the morning has already been traumatic. Thousands scrambling to escape. Thousands watching in horror. And thousands dying. When the south tower first collapsed, they could even see people falling off. And we just thought. Where the hell is Jesus? Why is Satan taking over and killing innocent lives? The smoke filled the blue and sunny sky. The planes’ engines falling onto the flat, concrete street in Manhattan. However, that wasn’t the end. The Pentagon got attacked. We just couldn’t believe it. Why is this happening? Life would change forever. And it sure as hell did. But flight 93, is a different story. Flight 93 is one of if not the best part of 9/11. Heroes. People stormed the cockpit of a 757, just to stop hijackers from hell killing passengers. How did they know you might be asking? Something called News. But, it unfortunately didn’t last. They crashed into a field, avoiding the White House. At present time, you can see in the first opening game of the 23-24 NFL season, Aaron Rodgers holding the American flag. Just because of 9/11, and being in NY.. they have every player do that. Now I know, the Jets suck. But I don’t care. This is my team. This is my life. And this is why I love football. 9 years later, I keep 4 American flags just because of the planes that crashed. Rest in peace to all of the souls and lives lost. And God, please take care of those souls. Al-Qaeda sucks, and 9/11 is the worst thing in dam history. Chapter 2: “9 Years Later.” On 2010, a one angry baby was born. [LOL.] And I was named Lucas. However, when I grew up to be 9, my parents told me about 9/11. I was so devastated to hear such a tragedy, and almost have my family experience it. 9 years later, I visit Manhattan every year, just to see the World Trade Center. From it being the tallest skyscrapers in dam history, to now just being one. It was, sad. How the people who put their blood, sweat, and tears into making it.. it was all for nothing in 2001. I couldn’t thank anyone more than my parents, brother, and Jesus watching over 100,000 feet of altitude up in the sky. And I got a quote. “When you want to do something motivational, remember the good things you’ve done. Not the trauma.” Anyway guys, this is it. I hope you all enjoyed. I just don’t ever want 9/11 to happen again. It’s bad, and I certainly don’t want it to happen. Rest in peace to the planes, buildings, and passengers. American Flight 11, United Flight 175, American Flight 77, United 93, the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the heroic field. Goodbye.
