Shadow sat under a tree in the forest sharpening his sword. He heard faint footsteps coming towards him and smiled slightly dropping his sword into its sheath. A boy with dark purple hair, dark blue eyes, a black vest and torn jeens poked his head out from behind a tree and made a exaggerated sad face at Shadow. Shadow chuckled saying "Hey Mal." The boy smirked walking up to him *whats up? whats with your sad face?* Shadow rolled his eyes standing up "I dont have a /sad face/ im just thinking." Malaki sticks his tounge out jokingly and said *sure you are.* Shadow rolled his eyes leaning against the tree. Malaki Bloom had been his best friend since he was 7 and he was now nearly 17. He said with a smirk "Anyway whatcha doin out here? isnt Jess gonna k1ll ya if she hears you left the house?" Jessica was Malaki's twin sister and was WAAAYYY to protective of him. Malaki rolled his eyes groaning softly *shes at archery so i FINALLLYY get to hang out in the forest without her CONSTANTLY texting me to make sure a bear didnt attack me or something.* Shadow chuckled "Dude your 16 and shes still bothering you that much?" Malaki nodded with a sigh *shes so annoying!* Shadow sighed pushing his hair out of his face and said "Believe me i know a thing or two about protective siblings" His older sister (BY A MONTH) when he still lived with her ALWAYS bothered him about EVERRYTHINNG. he left the house when he was eleven and in his mind that was the best discission he ever made. Mal sadly wasnt lucky enough to just run away from his sister. He had tried a few times and everytime she had found him. Mal nodded slightly and said *you heard from her at all?* Shadow shook his head. he hadnt heard from his siblings in months "Thankfully no. Im pretty sure Onyx and Midnight are in j4il again." Onyx was his second oldest brother and Midnight was his youngest sister. Both of them were ALWAYS in j4il.
