After Gray stopped getting the injections to erase her memory she still couldn't remember practically anything so she continued going by the name 'Gray' She was brought to the Restoration by Breeze who left immediantly with Light As a side effect to the injections, Gray forgets things easily, especially names, so she constantly calls people by their fur colour.
