select your character after clicking green flag. from there in game instructions tips: the first two times you fight eggman, just jump on him until he blows up. the third time you fight eggman, wait until he comes down to the platform and then jump on him. for metal sonic, avoid him while he is glowing and flying, also avoid him while he is spindashing. damage him by touching him while he is in crouching position.
