“It needs to be about 20% cooler.” Hello hello, ladies, gents, chaos gremlins and everyone in between! Welcome to my official application for the one, the only, Daringkit! When I saw this little guy, I was immediately struck by his design, and once I read his name, personality, and backstory, well… I fell in love! “Omigosh Omigosh Omigosh!” [About Me] Hi ho! My name is Skipper [Or Cecil, or any nicknames you like] and as you can probably tell by looking at this project, my username is @.SkipperTheSilkwing ! Here are some things you should know about me: -I am a proud Canadian! -I love drawing, singing, writing… anything creative. -Ask me about my weird fiction podcast obsession -I am transmasc and my pronouns are he/they! -I’ve been on scratch for around three years, and have been roleplaying that whole time! [Roleplay Experience + How long I will keep the kit] I have been in over a dozen long running role plays in my time here, with tons of characters! There’s too many to unpack all of them here, but I am currently most active in Generations. I have been in TSS before, as everyone’s favourite silly guy, Sneezehop! I was still getting used to how the role play worked when I made air, and a was a very experimental character. (Basically I just wanted to roleplay a complete wimp XD) While I still love a, I haven’t roleplayed with a in a hot second and have lost attachment. If I get Daringkit, I will delete air and start again! (It doesn’t help that I’ve completely forgotten how a/air pronouns work sobbing XD) When I get a character from a litter, I tend to be more attached to them, especially if the litter is parented/has siblings! I would keep this little member of royalty for a long time, at least a year (52 moons) and probably longer! I would endeavour to build as many relationships as possible, which always make me more interested in a character and role play further with them! And include lots of fun plots with him as well. I’d say my activity level is a solid 7/10… I am on every day, and start/finish a lot of role plays! I am not as active as I was, say, a year ago, however I am still very active! ^^ “Turns out the only thing I like more than flying fast, was winning!” [kit I am applying for] Daringkit, of course! I’ve already told you how I’ve fallen in love with his design… what a sweetie!!! Those wings, green as jasmine leaves, and that silly little face <3 what’s not to love? Once I saw him a million ideas flew into my head (pun intended) and I knew I HAD to apply for him. I love TSS as a role play concept and would love to rejoin/be active in it again. And this lil guy? He is perfect! [About Daringkit] Daringkit lives up to his name fully! This kit is a daredevil in the very sense of the word, and overconfident to boot. He is very chaotic good, and will always stand up for what’s right… in the weirdest way possible. Daringkit’s final gender will probably be demiboy, and his pronouns will be he/they. He doesn’t care much about gender, so this won’t be too big of a revelation for him. He probably won’t even mind she/her pronouns. He is very camp gay and was a theatre kid in a past human life XD [personality] + upbeat This little guy is always glass-half-full. His energy is contagious and he almost never mopes or is sad- he likes inspiring others and motivating people. Preferably whilst hanging upside down from a branch or doing loop de loops + kind It is second nature for Daringkit to give the metaphorical shirt off his back or food off his plate to someone who needs it more than him. Often, he’ll surprise people who thought he wasn’t listening by saying something comforting and insightful. Inside him is a core of goodness that can’t change, no matter what. =Energetic Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! It’s Daringkit! This little kit detests sitting still and will constantly be zooming around. This can be a good thing, like if he’s in a life threatening situation and needs to run, and it can also be a bad thing, like when someone is trying to have a serious conversation with him. =Action Oriented I didn’t quite know what to call this one lol. Daringkit prefers actions to words and is the first in a group to actually DO something. He makes hasty decisions without thinking things out first and lives with the consequences later. But he can also be a fearless champion for those who need him. -Clumsy This man will have no small amount of accidents in his life, and a good number of them will involve things being broken. Sometimes if he walks into a room and sees something
Fragile inside, he will apologize in advance, just in case he breaks it. If you are close to him, prepare to get constantly whacked with a wing, or a paw, or a branch. - arrogant Egotistical, arrogant, self absorbed, whatever you want to call it, that’s Daringkit. Whatever happens, he is absolutely certain he will come out of it fine. It doesn’t matter if it’s a dangerous stunt or a cat-job interview, he pushes aside all warnings and assumes automatically that he’ll do great. It is a constant headache to anyone with a logical bone in their body. *you might notice I kept the personality section quite short. The reason being is that I personally get a bit tired reading long personalities, and I don’t want to plan out Daring’s life before I get him. This exists to give you a general idea of who he is and how he will act. Want anything else? Role play with him! ;D “See? I’d never leave my friends hanging!” [Trivia] - His nicknames would mainly be nicknames his friends give him, and would probably be things like ‘speed’, ‘dash’ and others like that. Oorp I’ll probably call him Daring, Darry, etc. I might also call him ‘tiny’ or ‘menace’ XD - he loves cats from other clans, especially loners. He thinks cats without wings look hysterical. -he likes trees. If you’re looking for him, he’s probably in a tree. -He says the word ‘poggers’ a lot XD -more will be added teehee <3 [plot ideas] None of these are confirmed, they’re just cool plots that I feel could work with his personality! Also little quirks I think are cute. - when he is a kit, he’ll be constantly defending his siblings to any bullies. He’ll never be too young to stand up to unjustness. This might possibly get him beat up :’) -adding on to that, I feel like he will start a good amount of fights If he sees a cat being mean. -He messes up his words a lot, and will use words that don’t make sense in context. “I photosynthesis with that.” -I think it would be fun if he gets caught in a storm and injured, and he has to stay with another clan for a while until he heals. - he might start a little racing group and maybe even organize a tournament! - I would love for him to have a lot of crushes/short term relationships. I feel like they’re very his personality. I also feel like he has a lot of commitment issues :’d poor guy -I feel like he would dye his feathers with fruit juice a lot, especially as a kit, to look cool! [roleplay examples] See comments!! ADHD: I’ve done a lot of research on adhd throughout the years, as I was being tested for it (I don’t have it, however I display a lot of the symptoms) this included talking irl to people who have been diagnosed, as well as medical professionals! Online, my main source is Cleveland Clinic, as well as an asking/answering website scratch doesn’t like me to name. Daringkit will have adhd, that mainly shows itself as hyperactive- he will be constantly fidgeting and moving around, he will loose or forget things a lot, and he has trouble waiting his turn for things. He’ll often grow frustrated with anyone who tries to make him stay still or be quiet. He also has a hard time with listening and staying focused. The best way for him to focus is to move around, and his mentor will have to realize this to train him. He has trouble with a lot of social cues and dislikes small talk as a result. He has a special interest in racing and flying, and will often talk to people about those things for hours on end. He tends to drop out of conversations or change the subject when they don’t interest him. He is a very huggy cat and enjoys physical contact, often cuddling with his siblings and friends.
