WASD or arrow keys to move, and space key to change weapon! There are two weapons, melee and ranged. Melee deals more damage, but the ranged can be much better if you don't want to get close to the enemies and risk getting hit. Make sure you aim at the lock, hitting the ribbon will not deal any damage.
deqzcDISCLAIMER: This project might not be appropiate for all ages! I say might, because I'm not sure myself (I don't really know where scratch draws the line of what's allowed and what's not), so if you decide to play, do it at your own risk! It's not really that dark anyways, but I still feel like I should give a warning. Ok, I have to admit, I have not been able to beat the last stage. It's just too hard. But I refuse to nerf it any further, it's supposed to be really hard and so it'll stay like that. Also, this project is actually a sequel to another project I've made (that was sadly taken down). This project was meant to be added to a studio (I already forgot it's name tbh, I think it was like, keys and locks???), but I wasn't able to finish it in time. So yeah, that's kinda lame... Songs used: Below Zion (Excelsior) Heartbroker (Excelsior) Swamplands (Castle Crashers) Till Death Do You Part (Castle Crashers) Elsa Maria (Grief Syndrome) (The song doesn't really have an actual name) Symposium Magarum (Puella Magi Madoka Magica) Now, I will add here some information about the enemies. Yellow lock: The basic enemy. They don't have much health and they have decent speed. Both melee and ranged does well against them, But I think ranged does a bit better. Red lock: Speedy enemy with less health. Melee allows you to quickly deal with this enemy. Black lock: Slow and strong enemy, has a lot of hp. Ranged is pretty good at dealing with it, as it ensures that it doesn't get near you. Melee also does well, but you should be careful with the chains at the bottom. Rainbow lock: Their stats are completely randomized, so they could either be fast and weak, strong and slow, or just average. Ranged deals well against them, but melee is better if they happen to be fast. Blue lock: Extremely fast, but also extremely fragile. If you use melee then you shouldn't struggle with them too much. White lock: Pretty slow and has a lot of hp. They receive heavily increased damage from the melee weapon, so you should try using it against them if you can. Bronze lock: Decent speed and pretty high health. They receive massive damage from the ranged weapon, so using it will help you against them. Orange lock: MASSIVE speed, but they die in one hit. Both ranged and melee do really well against it, but personally I'd say ranged is better as it allows you to keep your distance. Purple lock: Incredibly bulky, but also extremely slow. I recommend using the melee weapon to deal with them before it's too late. I... well, I don't know what else to add. There are bosses as well, but I want players to learn how to deal with them themselves. Although it should be very obvious just by looking at the bosses. The firefly's name is Yuki by the way. Oh, if you're reading this, I'd like it if you could help me with deciding whether Yuki is a male or a female. I mean, it doesn't affect the gameplay, but still, I just don't know if Yuki should be a male or a female, as the name Yuki is unisex. Please help me with this. Man, writing like this surely is tiring... Whatever, I just hope you enjoy the game. I spent a lot of time on it, you know. Well, maybe not that much. But it still took me effort. Thanks for reading to the end!
