Even though I am a little out of practice of writing poems and this isn't one of my best works, I do like how it came out overall This was mostly inspired by how sometimes I feel like I'm not doing enough of whatever I'm supposed to be doing. But I know that sometimes, it's better to wait and get better at something than to jump in headfirst. Of course, this is no excuse because I know I'm a really big procrastinator on many things, but it's more along the lines of "don't try to fill the void with empty stuff just because you think you have nothing better to do". I've done this many times trying to delude myself and others into thinking I'm doing something but...I'm really not. It's a lot better to work to get to something much more worth it, even if it seems like nothing's improving and you feel unmotivated. Also largely inspired by how I always start a whole bunch of things but only ever actually continue with 2% of them, mostly because then I find something better to do instead :') I think I stopped writing poems because of the essay of an explanation I give for them... I also want to make a smol comic scene based on this if it's not one of those projects I eventually give up on- ---Credits--- @TweetyBurd || Tweety || Poetry -Harpy Hare by Yaelokre (I may or may not have listened to this on repeat a little too long) -Cover and slides made on Canva
