Just click the taco and to get to the shop click the 1 button on your keyboard. You need to buy upgrades from the shop. Click E to escape shop. Click 2 to go to gem shop (Gems are important and you need to buy them to get them but they are still not as powerful). Gems also change how your taco looks depending on the last gem you bought. The game is better with volume.
