Arin woke up, he had no clue where he was. Everywhere was…….darkness. Arin walked around a bit. Something seemed to sooth his thoughts. He felt surprisingly……..calm. “Where am I?” He tried to shout. His voice didn’t seem to work normally. “Garmadon? Sora? ………….Wu?” Arin saw Wu floating above him. “Where am I?” He asked. “Did you take me here?” Arin demanded. Wu ran away. “Where are you going? Get back here you—” Arin somehow saw a shadow of something in the darkness, it looked like a creature of some sort. He began to run but the thing caught him. “Who are you?” It asked. Arin could feel its arms grip around him. “Let me go!” Arin demanded. “How are you here?” The thing in the dark wondered. “Where? WHERE AM I!” Arin used most of his strength to yell. Laughter echoed across the whole place, ringing inside of Arin’s ear. “Maybe one day you’ll know…..” The creature trailed off. The creature let him go. Arin sat down, absolutely terrified. He had no idea where he was, and worst of all, he was alone. Just like he always felt he had been. No, he wasn’t, he was stuck with some ominous being that scared him. He started to cry. “This is your first time here, correct? If so then……..you can leave.” It sounded rather sad. Arin perked his entire body up. “Wha—what do you mean? I can leave?” He was laser focused on whatever was in the darkness was saying. “Yes.” It whispered. “How?” Arin demanded. The creature got startled as Arin got closer. “Your heart is cursed.” It said. “What? No it isn’t…….you mean shattered?” Arin asked. “No! It’s corrupt!” The creature snapped. Arin cocked his head. “What do you mean by that?” He squinted his eyes. “You shattered your soul with a wolf mask! I can see your true intentions, they are not good!” It raised its voice. “You push it out, and you resist.” It paused. “But no matter what you do it’s always there.” The creature finally finished. Arin dismissed this. “If that were true, I would have attacked you.” He stopped and thought for a moment. Why didn’t he just attack whatever was talking to him? “You haven’t attacked me because this place calms your mind.” It put its head back into darkness. “So back to the question, where am I? How and why am I here? How do I leave? Who and what are you?” He asked. Arin heard the creature sigh. “You are in a void, it was created a long time ago—” “I’m sorry, what now?” Arin interrupted. “AHEM.” The creature fake coughed. “The balance was once shifted…the shift of the balance created a void. And out of all of them……..I…….was sent here.” It finished. “Them?” Arin asked. “Also, you didn’t exactly explain how I’m here and how I leave.” He said. “I didn’t ask for you “sad” and “tragic” backstory, JUST HOW DO I GET OUT OF HERE THE SILENCE IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!” He screamed. Now that he wasn’t with Garmadon or Sora, he seemed to be losing control. The creature seemed a bit offended. “I don’t know how you are here, this is the void between the d3ad and the living. If you want to get out of here just walk around.” It said. Arin was so confused. He decided to give walking around a try though. He started to look around, he could see a faint glow coming from the right of him. He rushed towards to what looked like a mini portal shaped like a triangle. He slowly reached his hands inside. His hand started to turn………green, like he was becoming a ghost. Arin started to scream, he pulled away before it reached the rest of his body. He looked at his hand for a little bit, it started to turn back to normal. He sighed loudly, then turned around to whatever was in the dark. “You tricked me!” He screamed. There was no answer. “Did you hear me?” Arin asked. “I SAID you tricked me!” He yelled again. Still no answer. Arin walked up to him. “LISTEN TO ME!” He screamed. “Ge—get out of here.” The thing said softly. Arin was shocked. He had no words. He decided to punch the creature, it didn’t move one bit. Arin suddenly felt fear creep up on him. Something touched him. He jumped. “Who—who’s there?” His voice was shaken. “Hello there, Lloyd’s OTHER student, I see you are half d3ad.” It’s voice reminded Arin of someone. “I-I’m what?” Arin asked. “When you made that wish, it put you on the line of the d3ad and the living. That is how your here. And now your little friend over is knocked out; now they can’t protect you.” It chuckled. “THAT THINNNGGGG IS NOT MY FRIEND, HE TRIED TO K1LL ME!” Arin screamed. “Well, anyways, the reason I’m here is to end you, by the way this is Lloyd’s fault.” It glowed red. Arin saw that it was a dragon. “Where. Is. Lloyd.” Arin demanded. The dragon rolled its eyes. “That is not why I am here.” It said. “You talk a lot.” Arin was just stalling. “Rude.” The dragon said.

Uh……………um………………can I get your autograph?” Arin asked. The dragon blinked a couple times. “What now?” Arin tried to think of something else to say. “Tell Sora that I’m sorry.” He said. The dragon put his claw on his head. “Fine.” It growled lowly. “Your time has come to an end.” The dragon sounded rather proud. Arin shut his eyes tightly. “HEY THAT HURT!” The dragon screamed. Arin opened his eyes. Someone was fighting the dragon. “Get out of here, Arin.” It said. “I SWEAR THIS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME PEOPLE KEEP GETTING IN MY WAY!” The dragon yelled loudly. It’s dragon’s glowing red scales revealed what was really talking to Arin in the shadows. “You—you…….your an Oni.” Arin gasped. “Yes.” He said while still fighting the dragon. “I am the Oni warlord of vengeance.” Arin stood there in complete shock.
