(WARNING: Gore) Caspian was a Gargoyle who worked for a tall and handsome master, who had plenty of money and misstresses. Since Gargoyles were often only active at night, his master often ordered them to help him prepare for bed, or on other nights, help his many wives into the mansion. After that, they would tidy up the huge house before finally flying back to their perches on the mansion rooftop when the sun finally arose. Many of the others complained and whined about how their master, Seinius, would always have back breaking work for them to do. Even though they were gargoyles and made out of stone, they still could injure their spines. This night was a special night. Or at least, to Caspian. Tonight, Senius would have him clean the top of the roof of the mansion! He was finally old enough to swoop over the large house without stumbling or falling mid-flight. Often when other gargoyles were sent up to clean the roof, which was rare, they would find intresting things such as shiny trinkets or maybe even bug shells. Once, a gargoyle names Tofer had found something very intresting, Caspian didn't know what, and showed it to Senius. Although he had never been seen since, it must have been such a wonderfut thing that Senius had made them their permanent rooftop cleaner! Yes, something like that. (+)
(-) As Caspian rushed to the mansion, Senius was waiting for him by the door, tapping his foot impatiently. He huffed, and looked at his master with bright round eyes. "I'm here master! When can I start?" he squeaked excitedly. Senius seemed startled by the happiness in his tone. "Er, you can start now. Oh and report back to me afterwards." Caspian nodded and quickly flapped his tiny wings as he flew towards the roof of the looming mansion above him. As soon as his stone feet touched the rooftop, he quickly got to dusting, whistling a cheerful tune as he danced around, sweeping dust off the creaky surface. It was about midnight when he saw something shiny glinting in the silver moonlight out of the corner of his eye. He gasped. "A treasure?" He thought aloud, racing towards it. Instead of a shiny bug shell, or a owl's talon, it was... a knife. Caspian had seen this before when Senius 6th wife was chopping beef in the kitchen, Caspian arranging the roasted chicken onto neat platters beside her. Except, this knife has something besides tiny bits a beef on it. Something...red. It looked wrong and horrified Caspian when he realized what it was. Blood. He glanced around, nervous and spotted something much worse. But, his time was up and teh sun was beggining to rise...he had to report to Senius. Even if... Caspian shook his head. He would never! He grabbed the knife and swooped back down, his talons trembling as his flew down to his doom.
