ITS ONLY BEEN 5 MONTHS I DEEPLY APOLOGIZE FOR NOT KEEPING UP MY LIFE KINDA GOT BUSY UHH IM NOT DEAD HORRAY but like deep down i am dead inside ANYWAYS IF YOUR READING THIS UR A REAL ONE IMMA ACTUALLY TRY TO KEEP UP WITH THE STORY (no pwomises) If you need a refresher: chapter 6 is here https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/983987524/ Chapter 8 should hopefully be out this week (fingers crossed) ANYWAYS HERES CHAPTER 6: kinda short sworry :/ “So,” Greyson starts, “Your dorm is this away, cmon.” He starts walking down the main corridor, or at least I assume it is, the ceilings must be at least 20 feet tall and it's full of various benches and hallways that branch off. Looking back every once and a while Greyson keeps walking, he must’ve noticed how in awe I am, everything here is gorgeous. We must’ve been walking for at least 10 minutes before Greyson turns around while opening a door behind him, “Welcome to your room for the next 10 months darling,” he says, gesturing me in. Inside there’s a small living area with a kitchen net and a small balcony, there are 3 doors, one opening bedroom decorated head to toe. I walk to the opposite side of the living room to a bare bedroom, just a bed and desk are in the room. “Your bathroom in the door next to you, I can help you bring everything you need from your room to this one later today if you’d like.” “That would actually be really helpful,” I reply, still looking around my new room, “thank you.” “Uh hello, is anyone home?” A voice calls from the living area, a girl who looks around my age walks in. Her hazel eyes light up, “Oh my gosh!” Are you my new roommate?! I’m Samantha, you can call me Sammy though, how are you liking the school? Gosh this is so exciting!” “Hi,” I say, reaching out my hand, she shakes it, “I’m Autumn, nice to meet you.” “Autumn! That’s such a pretty name,” Sammy says checking her watch, “I have to head to one of my orientations, I’ll see you tomorrow when you're all moved in? We can get to know each other?” “Yeah sounds great!” I reply, she smiles, waves a little goodbye and walks out of the dorm. I turn to look at Greyson, smiling at me, “Don’t worry, she's really nice, just really excited at first,” he says laughing. “Alrighty so we need to sign you up for classes, cmon.” I follow behind trying to memorize the complex maze of halls in this building. “So,” Greyson says, “this is where all your non-magic classes will be, math, science, that stuff. Then there’s one building for each type of magic, so you’ll have to be all over the campus.” “Wonderful,” I sigh, as if this couldn’t get any more anxiety inducing.” “Hey, you’ll be fine,” Greyson says, handing me a sheet form the large desk we had walked to, “most of your credits from Lakewood transferred over, obviously you’ll have to start from scratch in all your magic classes.” Looking down on the sheet, he’s already circled all magic classes for me to take, just not any basic ones. “Well I was on course to do trig at my old school and chemistry, can I still take them?” “Uh, I think so? Normally only juniors and seniors take trig though, you might have to take an assessment or something to get in, chemistry shouldn't be a problem. I circle those, along with the required English course and literature course. “All good?” Finn asks, taking the sheet back, “you can always change your classes within the first two weeks.” “Good to know,” I reply. “Well then,” he says, “allow me to show you around campus to conclude your first day.” I grin and follow behind once more
