Let the hunger games begin! (Never actually seen the Hunger Games O:) and WOW this took forever. Now, I can't resist the urge to make a nice little backstory~ :P ♕̠̠♛̠̠♚̠̠T̠̠ԋ̠̠ҽ̠̠ ̠̠T̠̠α̠̠ʅ̠̠ҽ̠̠ ̠̠σ̠̠ϝ̠̠ ̠̠K̠̠σ̠̠ɾ̠̠σ̠̠ɳ̠̠α̠̠ɳ̠̠ ̠̠α̠̠ɳ̠̠ԃ̠̠ ̠̠M̠̠ι̠̠ɾ̠̠σ̠̠ʅ̠̠υ̠̠♚̠̠♛̠♕ Deep within the Cave of Souls lay the Crown of The Four. It had four sacred jewels that represented each kingdom. There was the green jewel, representing the Meadows. The purple jewel represented the Underground. The blue jewel represented the Rivers, and the red jewel represented the Mountains. It was said that the wielder of the Crown would have the power to rule over all the lands. Fearing that the Crown would be used for evil, the original Four Leaders hid it with the souls of their ancestors. Here, it was safe. The Lands endured great peace and prosperity for many generations. That is, until one cat went too far. The cat was named Koronan. He sought to rule the Mountains, and eventually rose to the top of his clan. Koronan was a respected leader. He was happy with his reign for a while, but he hungered for more power. He wanted to rule all four lands. He felt that, under his power, all the clans would experience a New Order. He told his clan he would seek out the Crown, making the Mountains the most powerful region. He called for a companion, which he got quickly. This companion was Mirolu. He was an eager young cat who idolized his leader. Together, the two sought out the Cave of Souls. They experienced many adventures, and Koronan was actually beginning to like this young cat. He began to question his journey for power, but he knew he couldn't turn back. His clan would view him as weak; which could possibly result in a different cat rising up to challenge his leadership and obtain the crown. Once they reached the cave, Koronan lead Mirolu in. Mirolu seemed to age over his journey, becoming more noble and solemn. Koronan seemed to be less power-hungry. Once they reached the Crown room, everything fell pitch-black. A strange blue aura surrounded both the cats. the Souls of their ancestors were evaluating them, testing them. Mirolu, not seeking power, was able to resist the temptation the spirits tested him with. He didn't seek the Crown; only a journey with the one he most admired. Koronan was different. When given the idea of ruling all four regions, he was greatly conflicted. He remembered how good it was to lead, the taste of power; but he'd also learned to care about others rather than himself. In the end, he gave into the temptation. He took the crown. Once placed upon his head, Koronan's eyes shone like lights in the dark cave. The Crown and its gems glowed as well. A strange marking appeared on his paw; one that hadn't been seen in ages. It was the Mark of the Four; the one that represented all four regions. Koronan's eyes hardened. Mirolu realized his master had failed the test to withstand the temptation, and backed away star struck. The one he'd looked up to, come to trust, was now turned against him. Koronan padded forward menacingly, holding up his marked paw. Mirolu was backed up against a wall, unable to get away. He cried out to his master, for he knew this wasn't really him. The crown had taken full control of Koronan's mind and body. Koronan brought his paw down on Mirolu, scarring his face. The souls flickered around Koronan angrily, but he simply drained them into the power of the Crown. Not seeing Mirolu as a threat, Koronan left to complete his task of taking the world. After several moments, Mirolu finally stepped out of the Cave. He'd first set out to help Koronan, and now he'd have to stop him. He didn't want to destroy Koronan; he knew there was still good in him. Mirolu was going to destroy the Crown so it could tempt no other with its power. He set out, determined to free his master.
