While leaving the solar system, you are stopped by a pirate battleship. They demand you give over all resources you have. They'll have to die too. After defeating the pirates, you head to a swap planet to refuel. While leaving the atmosphere, you are attacked by a mutant bug. It has to die too. The bug is now dead, and you have arrived in the cloud of darkness's realm. It's power is almost overwhelming, but you defeat it and it explodes into a mass of smoke. A remaining puff of the smoke begins to speak. According to this puff, the cloud is immortal, and is now very, very angry. You are astonished to see the puff grow back into it's original form. You struggle valiantly, and the cloud is at least in some measure of pain, but eventually, it's power grows to be too much, and you are killed.
