This lift was installed in 2006 since a new café opened up on the mezzanine and a multi-storey car park was built above the supermarket, similarly to some liftecs in bromley glades which were installed in the same year as there weren't enough lifts. This lift is still in fine condition and running very smoothly up to the present day. However, a lift enthusiast 'vandalised' it by replacing 'LIFTEC' with 'DING DING' which is a reference to a project made by @LIFTWONG. And it certainly wasn't me! HEHE!!! It also has an Otis Gen2 motor because the building designers couldn't properly afford to fit a regular motor. What difference for a generic does this create? This lift has BELT CABLES!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYmaybe not.
