art - me !! character - @Serene_Silver (erose) music - jobless monday by mitski So like back in march I entered ari’s dmc for erose and it does NOT look very good. I finally finished the redraw; I tried doing one in the middle of the summer during an intense bout of art block (it failed) and then had another wip going for like, a month and a half until I finally finished it. sigh. anyways the old dmce is really crusty and my second redraw attempt is even crustier, but the successful redraw is awesome so overall I’m pleased 1. ref 2. Og piece (the anatomy of the neck and face have me cringing so hard it’s not even funny) 3. crusty musty wip redraw in the middle of the summer 4. This is wayyyy better than the original. this is so old that this painterly rendering style is of mine isn’t really how I render now lmao but I’m also kind of in art block rn so maybe I’ll go back to this rendering style again. I used @Nectar-heart ‘s eye rendering tutorial that’s why ghe eyes look so scumptious 5. New with filter
