Also Pirate because pirate... I was originally just going to enter for Retro, but I had an idea for a story with two characters and I also wanted to enter for Pirate so I just had to Retro: Name: Tello Gender/Pronouns: Male, He/Him Personality: Tello is a reserved, antisocial person who prefers to be by himself most of the time. Despite this, he still enjoys hanging out with his few friends every once in a while. To people he doesn't know, he can seem cold and dismissive, which causes many to dislike him. Pirate: Name: Pailo Gender/Pronouns: Male, He/They Personality: Pailo is a generally energetic and open guy, though he doesn't talk much about his past friendship with Tello. Around others, he keeps up a friendly exterior, though he's a major hot-head and snaps at the smallest inconvenience. Story: As young kids, Tello and Pailo were very close. They met on the playground, and due to childrens ability to befriend anyone, they instantly hit it off. They had been best friends for years, until sophomore year of high school, at least. Pailo had slowly begun to snap at Tello more often, and Tello felt as though he was walking on eggshells around him. One day, Tello decided to confront Pailo about this. Pailo went off on Tello and told him that it doesn't matter and that his private life didn't effect Tello. Before storming off, he told Tello that he wasn't strong enough to be around them anymore. Tello didn't know it, but Pailo had gotten in with the wrong people and they had convinced him to join a dangerous organization, which had caused Pailo to miss more school and get angrier more often. The day that Tello and Pailo had argued, Tello was approached by a stranger, telling him that he had a job for him. At first, Tello wasn't interested, but once the person mentioned that the job would make him stronger, he accepted. Unbeknownst to Tello, this was the enemy of the organization Pailo had joined. Months later, while on a mission to gain information from Pailos group, Tello and Pailo saw each other again. Due to the sour note that they had left off on, this began a massive fight. It started out as an argument, but quickly transitioned into a real fight. From this moment on, they both vouched to destroy the other.
