✧ | Welcome to the first project of my new "Too Realistic...?" series! Have you ever watched films, read books, or listened to someone talking about stargazing in a perfect place and seeing so many stars? Well, this project features a few constellations, vector art, and interactive features... But it's Too Realistic! Light pollution, clouds, airplanes... Everything appears here. ✧ | Instructions: Click around and turn off all lights and effects that bother you while learning about constellations. And if you're lucky, you might see shooting stars. Have fun! ⚠︎ You can only use the Star Map (the constellation button) to show constellations after turning off all the lights! How will you identify the constellations if you can't even see the stars? ✧ | Notes: Here's a fun fact for you: Magnitude is a way to measure a star's brightness as seen from the Earth. Stars with higher magnitudes are less visible from the Earth. The Sun, the brightest star (from our point of view)'s magnitude is approximately -26.77. (Source: Stellarium Web) Here's an astronomy-related joke I found a few days ago! What happens when Musk enters a black hole? He elongates! (Credits to FloatHeadPhysics on YT. You should totally check his channel out!) ✧ | Credits: Thanks to myself for the art, description, coding, and design. Thanks to @MagniZoom for proposing this to be featured! Thanks to Stellarium for the constellation references. You should totally check it out! http://stellarium-web.org/ Thanks to Piliapp for the cool symbols. https://piliapp.com/ Thanks to HarumachiMusic on Pixabay for the background music. https://pixabay.com/users/harumachimusic-13470593/ ✧ | Tags: #BrilliantStar114 #All #Art #Astronomy #Realistic
✧ | FBC notes: I created this project so both you and I could learn more about the constellations, the night sky, and to show people that stargazing isn't just looking up and seeing the Milky Way, like in books and movies, there are obstacles too. Should I add more features? If so, do you have any suggestions? Are there any bugs or errors I should fix? ✧ | Changelog: Shared - Feb. 1st, 2026.
