Histeria walked back to her room. Jake's room was already closed so Histeria decided to not disturb him. She walked in and locked the door behind her. Collapsing on the bed, she felt vulnerable. She knew Jake and Ashlee had a right to know about this deal or about Histeria's father but she needed a place to live during the holidays and she didn't trust anyone other than Ashlee and Jake. She tried to sleep. After tossing and turning for an hour, Histeria knew that she wouldn't be able to sleep that night. she put on the lamp and took out a piece of paper. Then, she started to write: •-----------------------------------------------------------------------• Title: A Story of the Broken Family Rivera was the name....She was a young beautiful lady and was married to the rich and illustrious young Levi White. Little did Rivera know that there was a part of Levi which he kept hidden away. Away from Rivera, away from their adopted children. They only had two kids of their own. Their names were, George and Histeria. George was a nice boy of 13 while Histeria was still a 6 year old girl. George loved Histeria, and was often partial to their other siblings but he was more or less ignored by his own little sister. Histeria believed that she should spend time with everyone but in her trials to do that... •-----------------------------------------------------------------------• A tear slipped down Histeria's cheek. She kept the paper and quill aside, and curled into a ball. She cried for many reasons: for ignoring George, for being the cause of her father's death. More than anything else, she hated sharing so many traits with her father. Her late aunt Lisa and her father had been so similar so when Histeria was born, her father had even named her after her late aunt. He had put all his expectations in Histeria, which Lisa had not been able to complete. The very Lisa which Histeria was trying to be for Histeria knew that she owed her father something which was long overdue. Even Histeria's hair had become a dark purple, and Histeria missed her old life where things like 'mother' and 'true friends' existed. Where she didn't have these many problems and her parents would be there for her. Where she didn't have any weird things...like purple hair...or pink contacts. Histeria didn't want to wear her contacts but she had to.That was the Lisa style and her other aunt Libra had done the hair thing which made sure that Histeria's hair were always purple. That night, Histeria cried herself to sleep. In the morning, she woke to loud knocks on the door. "Who is it? Let me sleep!", she shouted. "It's Laura. Come and have breakfast", Laura shouted back. Histeria quickly got up and looked at herself in the mirror. She quickly let her hair fall and put on her contacts. "I'll get ready and then come down Laura", Histeria shouted back. She changed into a red dress and then headed down. Her eyes were still red but Histeria hoped no one would notice them
