"Jake, Xavier." Father said. "I am very disappointed in you." We stayed quiet. "Xavier." Father said in a serious tone. "I am forbidding you to see Roselette. She is a shame on the pureblood family lineage-" "She did not!" Xavier protested. "It doesn't matter what house you are in-" "Silence!" Father ordered. "And you, Jake. Stay away from that girl." "No." I said coldly. "You will do as I say!" He roared. ︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶ As we were eating breakfast, I was avoiding glances and points from Histeria. "Can you pass the honey?" she asked me. I silently passed her. "Guys, should we play hide and seek? Mom and dad are out till late night" Emily said. Histeria smiled. "Sure. Jake, Ash, let's play. You can show me around too" "No. I need to study. I will meet you guys later." I said and went off. When I looked back, Histeria was catching up with me on the stairs. "Why are you avoiding me?" She asked as she held my hand. "Who said that? I am not avoiding you-" I said, turning a little pale. "Oh, did someone tell you that you are a terrible liar?" Histeria scoffed. "I am not lying." I insisted. Histeria left my hand. "Fine." She said, hurt and walked back down. I was ashamed for what I had done and went to my room. A few moments later, I heard a knock. No one was there. I heard music coming from Histeria's room. When I took a peek, she was playing the guitar. I watched her in amazement. "That was...amazing! Where did you learn to play like that?" I asked. "My elder brother had taught me." She replied. My face fell a little, because it reminded me of William. I shook it off. "So, you knocked on my door?" I asked. "Yeah..." Histeria trailed off. Shuffling her feet, she looked down at her guitar. "Something wrong?" I asked. "N-no. I just wanted you to know that I am here, if you know. You want to share something that is bothering you...." She shuffled her feet and looked down at her guitar. Suddenly, a tear fell out of her eye. She brushed it off. I was confused. Why was she crying?
Poor Rosie. Poor Histeria.
