She was born a natural healer, being born with the power to heal any wound. Being of Hispanic race, she grew up with her first language as Spanish. She learned English from friends in her neighborhood and got a Cloaking Brooch from her Abuela to go to school in New York City, where she learned the rest of the language. One night, she was 8 years old and forgot to put on her cloaking brooch. Many humans were scared and chased after her. She hid in the sewers and that's where she met the turtles. After that, she kept visiting them and became great friends. Later, she got into medical learning and wants to be a doctor for all kinds of species.
