The CAT-24 program is a stopgap program meant to solve *some* of the issues of CAT-A7: -New camouflage/uniform that's better at concealment and more sturdy, while being adaptable to different environments. (Down Inc. VCU in Lines 2) -Lower-bulk CAT-A6-era patrol pack, so that not soldiers won't have only a bulky rucksack for patrolling. -Reduced cost. It does not fix the issue of a lack of suitable body armor protection, and no ear pro has been introduced to solve the issue of the faulty design used prior. These will be fixed with CAT-A8. CAT-24C will soon be rolled out to the 1st Para Division (red square) and the 2nd Mountain Division (gray square with triangle) for field testing. The 1st Para will also be receiving a small batch of Kontrol TBIRs for its own field testing. The acquisition of Lines 2, the TBIR, and multiple other components are part of a SATO aid package led primarily by Umbra. Scratch Town State sends its utmost gratitude for the actions of our allies.
A lot of stuff was produced by multiple people as part of CAT-A7. 1st Para unit patch was inspired by the British 1st Para's unit patch. There is a CAT-24A and a CAT-24B that I made before @scratch_operator5 said he'd give us a ton of money. If you want me to post them, I can.
