Round 1 - Duo Designs I

PLEASE READ EVERYTHING HERE BEFORE DOING ANYTHING ELSE, THANK YOU. Please don't hate on or be rude to judges. ~ DUO DESIGNS I ~ Spacebar, arrow keys, or scroll to change slides This is the first official round! 5 duos will move on to round 2. RULES ~ Originality - Stealing, plagiarism, or any signs of having taken without giving credit within your project, you will be given a warning, and if it isn’t changed, you will be disqualified. Must Include - Your project must include these things: A logo, logotype, and one mock-up (you are encouraged to include more than this). Your project must also be a remix of the signups project. On Time - You must turn your project in by the due date! If not you will be disqualified, unless an extension has been granted. SCORING ~ Entries will be scored by our three judges. Each category can give up to 5 points, allowing for 20 points per judge and a max of 60 points. CREATIVITY - How creative and unique your entry is QUALITY - Visual appeal PRESENTATION - Slides and accompanying details PROMPT - How well your entry follows the prompt A perfect score is hard to obtain, but possible! Put your best effort in, and you may just do better than you imagined. DUOS ~ Time for the ‘Duo’ in ‘DuoDesigns’. To participate in this contest, you must do it with a partner. - Only ONE project (must be a remix) - You are working TOGETHER - This will be your partner for the WHOLE contest In the final round, only two DUOS will be left, one will win and will host DD2 (Duo Designs II), and the other duo will have the opportunity to judge. If you are still confused, please ask any questions you have in the comments. PROMPT ~ Your prompt is to create a brand for a sports team. Again, your entry must include a logo, logotype, and one mock-up as well as containing any fonts and colors you use, however, we highly encourage you to do more than just the bare minimum! This prompt might involve rebranding existing brands/teams (Philadelphia Eagles, Burnley Football Club, etc.), or you can create a fictional brand/team. DEADLINE ~ All entries are due by: Thursday, October 31st at 12:00 AM EST (midnight) Please use your time wisely, extensions will only be granted with good reasons. ONLY THE 12 PEOPLE (6 DUOS) INSIDE THE PROJECT MAY ENTER
