Ryan and his sister, Alexandra, were riding on their jet skis. " Hurry up Alex!" Ryan shouted to Alexandra. " I'm trying!" Alex said struggling to keep the jet ski steady. " The waves are HUGE today!" " That's just your excuse for me to slow down!" Ryan teased as he zoomed farther ahead. Alex caught up and splashed Ryan with water. " Drink my salt water!" She laughed as she skied away. Ryan was right behind her when she stopped. She was staring at a beautiful cave with rocks hanging down from it. " I wonder what's in there..." Alex said. " Let's go find out!" Ryan skied over to a small patch of sand and stepped off of his ski. He flipped on his light on his helmet and looked inside the cave. " There's ground that we can walk on in here!" He said to Alex. She got off her jet ski and they both walked into the cave. Beautiful gems shined from the walls, and it gave the cave a magical look. " This place is amazing!" Alex said in awe. " Look at all the gems!" Ryan heard water. " There's water on the other side!" Ryan said. They walked towards the end of the cave, and they saw an arch made of gems and rocks. By the arch was a girl; lying there. Ryan rushed over and looked at the girl. " What happened?" Asked Alex. " The tide must have washed her in here..." Ryan replied. There was a rumble. Pebbles started to fall from the ceiling. Ryan picked the girl up. " Run!" Alex said as the cave started collapsing. A huge rock fell from the wall and blocked the exit! " Oh no!" Alex shrieked. Ryan kicked a rock off the wall, and he saw light. " Hurry!" Ryan yelled running towards the opening. They jumped through the opening and made it safely as the cave fell to the ground. Alex and Ryan were lying on the ground. " Are you ok?" Ryan said getting up. " Yeah..." Alex said brushing off rocks that had fallen on her. Ryan was staring at the girl. She was halfway in the water, but she had a tail. A mermaid tail.
