I decided to go to the forest for some time alone to think about everything. It was drizzling, but I went anyway. I sat down under a tree. I plucked a flower and turned it with my fingers. A few hours or minutes later, Aiden appeared. I was unbothered by this. "What do you want?" I asked. "What're you doing here?" He asked. "Thinking, mourning, laughing, talking to myself, whatever." I scoffed. He sat beside me. "I'm-I'm just thinking about my mom lately, and my uncle and grandparents." Tears pricked my eyes. I quickly wiped them. We just sat there for a moment. Then he suddenly just stared at me. I looked at him. As far as I knew, his lips never left mine.
