I left the boys to discuss among themselves. It was better to view the land and the lights than suspect Draco and make theories. It anyway made me feel more sad whenever I thought about Jake. Jake had promised friendship, but would he stay true to his word or was I again going to have another situation like the one I had with Vivian. Just, this time, there would be no one to have my back. Then, we started to go closer to the ground. "Touchdown!", said Fred. I just smiled at his humor.yard, and Harry looked out for the first time at Ron’s house. The Burrow looked as though it had once been a large stone pigpen, but extra rooms had been added here and there until it was several stories high and so crooked it looked as though it were held up by magic. Four or five chimneys were perched on top of the red roof. A lopsided sign stuck in the ground near the entrance read, the burrow. Around the front door lay a jumble of rubber boots and a very rusty cauldron. Several fat brown chickens were pecking their way around the yard. "It's wonderful", me and Harry said at the same time. Ron brightened up. Mrs. Weasley was at the door as Ron was just about to lead us to his room I nudged him and smirked as he turned a nasty green. Mrs. Weasley came to a halt in front of us, her hands on her hips, staring from one guilty face to the next. She was wearing a flowered apron with a wand sticking out of the pocket. “So,” she said.“Morning, Mum,” said George, in what he clearly thought was a winning voice. “Have you any idea how worried I’ve been?” said Mrs. Weasley in a deadly whisper. “Sorry, Mum, but see, we had to —” All three of Mrs. Weasley’s sons were taller than she was, but they cowered as her rage broke over them. “Beds empty! No note! Car gone — could have crashed — out of my mind with worry — did you care? — never, as long as I’ve lived — you wait until your father gets home, we never had trouble like this from Bill or Charlie or Percy —” “Perfect Percy,” muttered Fred. I laughed but it went unnoticed. As the twins and Ron made their way, Ginny, as I knew from the many letters, came to me and pulled me in, her cheeks tinted red. "Someone's got a crush, right?", I asked her as we made way to her room. "Y-eah", she stammered turning a bright red. "Hey, chill. It's fine.", I replied. "You have a room all to yourself. Right next to mine, mum made sure that you have it all to yourself. "Well, I am pretty tired and I must thank Aunt Molly", I replied with a gently laugh. "Are you sure?", Ginny asked. "Hi, Cousin", a girl came in and said. "Do I know you?", I asked her. "Carli, Carli Weasley.", she replied. I looked at her stunned. She was a force to reckon with. "Stop gaping at me, it looks wrong", she said. "Oh yeah", I said regaining my composure too. If she wanted to see attitude, I was going to show her. Throughout breakfast, I didn't pay any attention to the tension in the air. I was busy thinking what Jake's reaction would be when he finds my note. Would he be angry at me? Would he be sad? Would he feel betrayed? thoughts raced in my mind. "Histeria, I was looking forward to seeing you. Perhaps you could help me with some chores?", Aunt asked. "I think I will help the boys, Aunt Molly. Thank you again for letting me stay", I replied. "That's the least we could do for you, darling", she said. For some reason, I knew I didn't really think my holidays was going to be much fun but I looked forward to my school year. I sat down on the grass and started to do my homework. Yup, that was all I did except occasionally chat with Harry or Ron. I wasn't really bothered by Ginny or Carli, nor did I take much interest into becoming friends with them but occasional talks did take place. That was how life was at the Burrow.
