I was thankful for Father understanding that it was urgent, and the summer was almost ending. We were at Diagon Alley, getting our new textbooks and robes for the term. "What happened to the White now, hmm?" Draco smirked proudly. "Shut up, Draco!" Melissa argued. He rolled his eyes. While we were at Twilfit and Tatting, a glimmer caught my eye. It was a circular pendant, crafted from two stones, a deep, rich lapis lazuli and a vivid, emerald green. It was shining under the sunlight. The chain was silver with a bronze-kind of tint to it. "Mother. May I look around?" I said. She said yes and I went into Twilfit and Tatting again. I got the necklace and paid with it for my own money. I just hoped Mother and Father wouldn't find it. As I went outside, a familiar face went into view. I covered my face with my hoodie as she walked on the same path as me. It was Histeria. "Ron, hurry up!" She complained. "I'm trying to lift this." Ron answered impatiently. I quickly got a paper and a pen and began to write: •----------------------------------------------------------------------• Dear Histeria. You may not have recognized me, but I bumped into you a while ago, if you've been to Diagon Alley. Happy Birthday. With this note comes your gift. I hope you are doing well. I understand why you left. - Jake ♡ •-----------------------------------------------------------------------• I laid the necklace into the letter and folded it neatly. I tucked it in one of Histeria's pockets. She noticed and turned around, bewildered. "Hey, what did you do?!" I ran away as fast as I could. "Look at your pockets!" I said then apparated. The last thing I saw from her was a confused look.
