back at it again at the krispy kreme second song inspo for this one is lowkey a mix of Beautiful Lair by Shakira and Beyoncé and pharmacy by Isaac Dunbar (yes, technically three songs altogether but i’m not gonna bother following my own rules) lore time! Name —> Calypso Gender —> Female Species —> Magic Feline wowow Personality Traits —> Soft-spoken, timid(??), accepting. The sweetest character that ends up being a genius and knows exactly how to manipulate people in a “Oh my goodness how on Earth did we miss those motives from her?” kind of way. I thought she was giving Calypso from Greek mythology so she’s going to give Calypso from Greek mythology. I love Greek mythology. Calypso was born your average naïve pretty girl. Sweet as can be, heart on her sleeve, you get the drift. She was as desperate for a partner as a fish out of water, and with her looks it wasn’t hard to find one. They never stayed, though, leaving her broken-hearted over and over again, more times than anyone could count. There were rumors stating that she’d dated everyone her age on the island she lived on, which was a lot of people. When she wasn’t on the prowl looking for someone who could fulfill her needs, she was exploring her home island. Her kind lived on a specific side of the island, and the other side was nearly untouched. It was completely overgrown and forgotten, and she soon found out why. It housed a mass grave and evidence of an abandoned insane asylum completed with what looked like an underground dungeon. Calypso began to get ideas, and it wasn’t long before she was putting them into play. From then on she’d take every fling she had to the extensive dungeon under the guise that they were taking a moonlit stroll across the island. She’d come close to the ruins and insist that they go exploring, and she would eventually lead them down to the dungeon. Everyone already there wanted to warn newcomers to run, but they were forbidden, frozen by fear and enchanted golden collars akin to the jewelry that Calypso wore that kept them in their places. Once the collar was snapped on a cat would be trapped, and Calypso is the only one who knows how to get them off. To this day no one suspects a thing. They associate the disappearances with cats deciding to move on and move to a different island (a common occurrence among cats there), and didn’t think twice. Calypso is the only one who knows of her secret dungeon, and she assures that no one can ever leave her again.
