Use the warm color palette for angry, loud etc beats. Use the backdrop palette for the backdrop XD. 9) Speaking of backdrops, if you are using a moving background PLEASEEE oH PLEASE use a sprite. 10) Don't animate in backdrops! That seriously kills me, and no matter how hard you work on it i'll ask you to convert it to a sprite. 11) No effects...
