Officer: We've just received intel that our operation in Beijing has been sabotaged. Command has assigned you to fly there and survey the damage. Pilot: Are enemy units still in the area? Officer: We've been given the "all clear" from our source. it will just be a quick flyby, in and out. Pilot: On it sir! Officer: Oh, and corporal? make sure the tech department loads the sensor equipment into your aircraft. Pilot: Yes sir! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, you're probably wondering what all that was about huh? If you haven't seen on my profile, I have set a goal to post a drawing a day on scratch (excluding weekends), and about a week ago I had come up with this idea for a world in the near future that has gone through a big war and all that's left are these scattered factions that are constantly making strikes and battling each other. And so, I thought why not draw some stuff about that world? ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ********************About the drawing********************** So, this picture is of the pilot in the above story. And those rings are accelerators that allow the plane to reach Mach speeds in order to get somewhere fast. They are one of the examples of leftover technology from the war. And these rings are in quite a few places positioned around the earth, once used by a country in Old Europe. A lot of the equipment and vehicles that these factions use is very outdated stuff that's been jerry rigged and patched up countless times.
