Lily was an ordinary girl living in a quiet town. One day, she received a mysterious envelope in the mail. Inside was a lifelike drawing of a dark, twisted tree with gnarled branches. The drawing was so detailed it seemed to leap off the page. Lily felt a shiver run down her spine but dismissed it as a prank. The next day, she found another envelope. This time, the drawing depicted a shadowy figure standing under the same tree, its eyes glowing red. Lily’s unease grew, but she still tried to ignore it. That night, she heard strange noises outside her window. Peering through the curtains, she saw the tree from the drawing in her backyard. The shadowy figure was there too, its eyes piercing through the darkness. Terrified, Lily ran to her parents, but they found nothing when they checked. The drawings kept coming, each one more disturbing than the last. One showed her house engulfed in flames; another depicted her parents lying motionless on the floor. Lily’s fear turned to dread as she realized the drawings predicted the future. Desperate, she tried to destroy the drawings, but they always reappeared, more vivid and horrifying. One night, she received the final drawing. It showed her own lifeless body, eyes wide with terror. Lily knew she had to confront the source of the drawings. She followed the clues in the drawings to an old, abandoned house on the outskirts of town. Inside, she found a room filled with drawings, each one depicting a different victim. In the center of the room was an old, decrepit artist, his eyes glowing red. “You can’t escape your fate,” he whispered, handing her the final drawing. Lily’s scream echoed through the empty house, but no one was there to hear it.
