Despite joining a day ago, I've been on Scratch for years. Some people's projects are so amazing, but they don't get recognized upon everyone else's. I was like that. I was a new scratcher back then. And my number 1 goal was to become famous like Griffpatch. Speaking of Griffpatch, he inspired me. His projects get so much likes and favorites, I wanted to be like him. So I made projects that were very bad. I was almost lucky to get a single like. But I pressed on, and got my 100th follower. But it took forever, and it took 4 years to get my 500th follower. This made me realize that getting fame on Scratch is just getting lucky. People get 100s of followers everyday. I got 5. People's journey to fame may be in vain, as people might not tap on your projects. I gave up trying to get fame. I just wanted to be recognized.
