I awoke to the sweet smell of syrup, I put on my favorite robe and went downstairs. “Good morning sleepy head.” my dad said and kissed my head, “Morning Cecilia '' my big brother Griffin said “Morning guys'' I replied. “Oof, I better get on the road if I don't want to be late to work” dad said. He bid us goodbye and left to work. I went to the fridge and grabbed some fruit and started to Chomp on it. “Why don't you get dressed for the first day of your new school?” Griffin suggested, I agree to get dressed and went upstairs. I put on my school uniform and did my hair in a simple ponytail “ArE yOu d0nE yEt?!” Griffin yelled ”No! Gimme a minute!” I finally came downstairs and met Griffin at the front door “C'mon’ i'll give you a lift to school' we hopped into the car and drove to school. CHAPTER TWO: Starting a fight I Arrived at School minutes later. It's crazy how many kids go there! I think Middle and high school share the building. I looked for the principal's office for my class schedule, “Oh um hi ... .I'm Cecilia Thatcher" I told the Woman at the front desk. “Hi Cecilia!,” She said with a smile “Im Ms. Taylor, Lemme get you a tour guide.” She said as she picked up the over speaker mic, “Um…Can i acto-” I began “Can i please have Jackson Mcarthy to the front office?” Ms.Taylor Said into the over speaker. Before I knew it a Boy came in, “Yes?” The boy said with an interesting accent “I need you to direct Ms. Thatcher to Mr. Lewis’s class room” Ms. Taylor said, “Well if you can just give me the room number, then I can find it myself.” I said as I interrupted Jackson, “Wow, no one has ever rejected me..” Jackson whispers to himself, “There's a first time for everything” I tell him. “You're right, there's a first time to beat up a girl” He says putting up his fist, “HEY, NOW! No fighting!” Ms. Taylor says trying to separate us. “FIGHT MEEE” I taunt him “Oh, i will, just you wait lil’ girl” Jackson said then he left. “You better get to class, if you don't want to be beaten up by him.” Ms. Taylor tells me, then I went into the hallway.
