Ok, hear me out. Most of what we know is that J hates N (clearly) since he took up more of Tessa's attention, She takes her job seriously and works for Cyn out of fear for her survival and can't escape it. Here's what you don't know: J here most likely didn't know how to deal with jealously. Now some people might think it's just common sense not to hurt someone, but with J N and V, that's a little different. (Uzi obviously knows but doesn't care bc of obvious reasons, being emo.) They were rebuilt by Tessa which meant they most likely don't know some of what's right and wrong. She and Tessa thought being locked up and abused most likely was normal. And seeing that while also being jealous of N for taking Tessa's attention? If you put two and two together, you can come up with the conclusion that J only hurt and was mean to N because she thought it was the right thing to do, like with Tessa being locked up. (eventually and obviously she must have thought it's also normal to break out from that, which also means she might have thought N could try and fight back, but thanks to Cyn that was delayed heavily.) And even as a disassembly drone, that didn't change either. The only difference was that she was acting a little because she knew N obviously remembered nothing of what happened before the gala ad was told not to tell him most likely. This is why I still like J, even if it's not as much as character's such as Uzi or V, because she's not bad, just broken and not knowing how to deal with it. Episode 8 also is proof of that because she tried to help V since she thought Cyn was the only way to be on the wining team and survive. (and most likely would have so that's not a bad idea) When V rejected her, she was definetly hurt. And to cope, yet again, she hurt V and even said she never needed her or N, which to me is an obvious lie. Sorry I just needed to rant, but in conclusion, this is why i don't hate J unlike most people because she was forced to be this way, same as V and N (although N is just a goofball and will most likely always stay like that, V definitely was effected.) UPDATE: Also if J really wanted N dead then explain why J protected N in the mansion on Earth if that is based off of the past? (Yes I know it wasn't exactly what happened since Uzi was their but that also means J would've protected N back then at the very least since it used data from that time to make up personalities.
