(I'm writing this story in the writing style where it's like you're the protagonist) Hi! My name is Maya Jenniffer, but everyone calls me MJ. Everyone that is, except my baby sister Lila, she calls me MyMy. One Friday morning I was on my way to school when I ran into my friend Mackenzie. "Hi!" she said, "Do you want to walk to school together?" "Sure!" When we got to school we went to our classroom. Mrs. Kate, our teacher, was grading tests, but a second later she looked up and realized that the class was already there. "Oh!" she chuckled, embarrassed, "I'm pretty tired today class, so just read quietly today." Yes! thought MJ, I can finally finish this book! MJ had been reading A Wrinkle in Time, and she really wanted to finish it. When it was time to go to lunch, MJ had only 2 pages left. "What do you have for lunch?" asked Mackenzie, "I have a glazed donut, and a corn on the cob." "I have an apple, and 3 pieces of fried chicken," said MJ. "Time really flies, doesn't it?" asked Mackenzie, while we were walking home. "Sure, does!" I replied, "Well, I better be home now. Bye!" "MyMy!" yelled Lila as soon as I opened the door. "Hi, Lila!" I said, in a doting tone. "No homework?" asked Dad. "Nope." I replied. I had gotten really tired that day, so I went up to my room, and flopped down on the bed. When I woke up, it was Sunday. "Wait," said MJ, "Yesterday was Friday, so how could today be Sunday!" Then she realized, she slept all through Saturday! And the Moral of the story is.... Don't spend your Saturdays sleeping in!
