I casually walked upto Hermione, and yes. She didn't recognise me. "Hi", I told her as I looked for Harry and Ron. "Do I know you?", she asked. "Histeria White, I recently got my natural hair back", I told her. "Oh", she remarked. No one had to know about the incident in detail. "Where's Harry and Ron?", she asked. "No clue, I thought they were right behind me but they aren't so I am assuming that they disappeared into thin air", I joked. "You can't be serious", she replied. "Oh, trust me. I totally am", I replied with a sarcastic edge to my voice. "whatever", she muttered. "Anyway, I don't think we can afford missing the express. Let's go", I told her but she ignored me. "Let's go, I don't want to miss the express", she said a second later. "I told you so", I replied. "When?", she asked. "Right now", I replied with a scowl. "No offense meant, I was just thinking if they are alright", she replied. "I feel like you three are rather too close. Like spending time with boys, 'Mione?", I asked her as we dumped our things in an empty compartment. "Not really. Others make fun of me", she replied. "Well, I actually understand how that feels like. Everyone at Hogwarts actually didn't like me that much at first so I too thought it wouldn't matter if I too was like that to them but then, there was this one boy who kept being nice to me and kept looking out for me even though I told him so many times to leave me alone. Eventually, we became friends", I told her as I absent mindedly reached for my pendant. "It was Jake, right?", she asked. I nodded. "Speaking of Jake, I will go call him.", she said and left before I could say another word. I knew Jake would disagree. He wasn't happy about me leaving without a word. Even if that was my mistake, I wasn't planning on talking to him either. Couldn't he even talk to me for a second on my special day? Was he afraid of being seen with a muggle-born witch? These were just some of the many thoughts that were going in my mind. Hermione came back, and told me that Jake had refused to join us. Just great, he was mad at me. "Fine, he is just another friend you lost and you will find some else. Give yourself time, Histeria", I thought to myself as I took out a book. Me and Hermione talked for the rest of the train journey. When I saw Jake entering the Great Hall, I saw a girl with him and for some reason, I felt a tiny bit of jealousy. Why? I didn't know. It was not like I actually liked Jake. "Who is that?", I asked Hermione. "Oh, the one with Jake? That's Emily Sole. A Slytherin.", she replied. "Well, then she would be knowing about the Malfoys, right?", I asked her. "I guess so", Hermione replied. I decided to find out more later.
