This is a Poem I wrote. Please do not copy this. It will soon be published and I do not want anyone to do anything with it. By saying that- no remixes, added to studios, or copying. I wrote this from my heart and soul and I just want people to hear it.
TW://: (mentions: sh, purging, and sv!c!de) Spooks [as you know] September 24th, 2024 Your words are impactful. Your words are strong, Even the words you write. What you say impacts people’s lifelong, You could be the reason someone is again bright. That comment you made to your ex-boy, Now forever haunts him, Everything you promised him was a bluff. You played him like a toy, All he ever did was love you to the brim, Now he thinks he will never be good enough. That girl you called a “big back,” Is now choking on her fingers. She is constantly making herself gag, Stop telling her “Go eat another Snickers.” Because you thought it was funny to brag, Your words are all that lingers. That comment you made about her self-harm, It is now her reason. It has now ended entirely up her arm, She wears hoodies even when it isn’t hoodie season. She can’t stop; It stings, But she continues her carvings, The cuts are getting thicker. The light inside of her, Is starting to flicker. You called her an attention seeker, She’s now lathering her cuts with hand sanitizer. The girl who felt bad already, You pulled her down. You called her “ugly,” Now she is going through a shutdown. She started wearing make-up, That’s no longer water in her cup. You pointed out how her face had broken out, She scrubbed her face so hard, she ended up freaking out. Now her face is red, It had bled. Because of what you said, Her new self is halfdead. The girl you said “womp, womp” to, She still hasn’t stopped herself from harm because of you. Why is it, that you end up bullying her every time she is having a good day? The comments you have made, are the reasons why she is no longer okay. At the end of the day, Was it even worth it to say? The gay boy you called a slur, Is now off the radar. He started online school and never leaves the house, He always has doubts. His sexuality is now a blur. This could have been prevented if you didn’t spit out that slur. Each person you comment to, Is impacted differently. One of them is now internally torn, Another lost self-dignity. The third person is now gone, I hope you can’t sleep, that one person’s family knows you are guilty. Your comments are very impactful, Please, please don’t be the reason a person’s parents have to bury their child. A kid came up to you saying they had something to admit, “I don’t care, you twit.” Because of your ignorance towards that little kid, that blunt is now being lit, Their wrists are still being slit. The nails on their hand are being bitten, And now because you couldn’t listen, they can’t quit. A compliment would be good for a change, In your life, maybe start on a new page. You could be the reason why, the girl cutting, could find ways to better herself, Maybe she’ll finally pull a book off of that dusty bookshelf, Maybe she will finally learn to love herself. The boy in the back of the class with anxiety, Severely hates society. Make complimenting them every day your priority, It’ll better you minority. If you see a kid crying, Talk to them. Be the person to recognize that they are trying, Hug that hurting gem. Say just this to them “One of these days you will be living, not surviving.” You could lift them up, Fill their inner cup. Comments and compliments are very different, One is magnificent, And the other is very ignorant. There is positive impactfulness, And there is negative impactfulness. If you think and talk positively, People will positively look at you. If you think and talk negatively, People will look at you negatively, depending on what you do. Be the reason someone smiles, Don’t be the reason why someone is putting their self-worth on trial. Give someone a simple compliment, You could have just made their day. Don’t make that nasty comment, You never know whether or not someone is okay.
