This is an animation of a real-life event in which two of my chickens were killed, before I was unfortunately forced to protect my chickens and kill the predator (a raccoon). This was a bad situation for all parties involved, and I was deeply saddened to learn the raccoon was pregnant but much more saddened that two of my chickens were deceased.
The first gun I have is a Lancer Tactical airsoft AEG (so not a real gun) while the second gun is a Savage Stevens 120a which is a single-shot .22 caliber rifle. All the events shown here occurred on the night of 29 September 2024 between 11:17 p.m. and 11:41 p.m., and long pauses are not present because that would make the animation boring and take forever. Not counting the Airsoft weapon, the raccoon was shot three times in the head. The first shot made the raccoon lose consciousness, while the second shot failed to enter the brain, and the third was made while ducking down and aiming toward the head which caused the raccoon to uncontrollably spasm which is a common reaction to violent deaths such as being shot in the head. Do also note that the first blue dot is me, the second is my dad, and the coop is actually much smaller than it appears here.
