Hi! Just something silly I made for fun. Feel free to remix with your answers. — 1: What story will you be using to answer these questions? How would you quickly describe the storyline? Spruce City, the story of an anthropomorphic red panda who wants to make his mark on the world in more ways than one. 2: What inspired your story? My story loosely inspired by shōnen anime but doesn’t really take any inspiration from anything else. 3: Does it take place on Earth or in a made up land? In what time? It takes place on earth on the continent of Shakti in present day, but there will be a time-skip at some point. There will also be episodes set in the 80’s and 30’s 4: What’s a favorite place in your story and the events that happen there? A location I like is the Valley of Shadows, the place where the wendigo tribe lives. The main characters will be going there eventually. 5: Who is your protagonist? What is their mission? Pyro, an anthropomorphic red panda with fire powers given to him as a blessing from the goddess. He wants to become the strongest blessing harbor and the greatest rock singer and musician in all of Shakti. 6: Who is the most underrated character in your story and why? Marvin, a nerdy fox. He’s a huge rule stickler and is kind of like Dwight Shrute from The Office. 7: What two characters have the most interesting relationship (good or bad)? Pyro and Tito have a father son relationship (Pyro is an orphan.) and Pyro and Crossbone have a pretty big enemy relationship. 8: What are the conflicts of the story? Do you have villains? There will be a new villain each season but they all tie to one overarching villain who I won’t reveal just yet. 9: Which character is the most misunderstood? Bangle, a cat. He tends to put on a fake smile to hide what’s going on at home. 10: Is there a character the most like you (or even based off you)? What qualities do you share? Pyro is somewhat based on me in spirit. 11: Is there an animal sidekick? No, because everyone IS an animal. 12: Who or what acts as the comedic relief? There will be plenty of running gags in the series, but a big comic relief is the character Nacho, a Mexican baby monkey who tends to create chaos for the trio. There’s also a wendigo named Skull who’s kind of like the Tasmanian Devil but talks and just a little smarter. (Just a little.) 13: What is the underlying message or moral of the story? That achieving your goal is only worth it if you still have your friends by your side in the end, and that giving into darkness will only bring you to ruin. 14: What are some symbols or hidden meanings you have placed? I’m working on a special symbol that will appear throughout the series. It won’t say what it’s for or what it means just yet, and I plan for the series to defy expectations. 15: What genre would you consider your story? Action, adventure, drama, comedy, slice of life, musical 16: What type of media is your story (book, animation, movie, play, etc)? Indie animated series part of a larger universe with a couple other animated series I’ll be working on. 17: What’s a song that matches an event or character in your story? “I will not bow” by Breaking Benjamin could represent both Pyro and Bangle. 18: Is it a cast of people, animals, or both? Anthropomorphic animals, but humans do exist in universe. 19: What’s something funny or ridiculous that happens? There’s gonna be an episode where the trio babysits Nacho, and let’s just say that Nacho goes for a ride in his stroller. 20: What’s the biggest obstacle your protagonist must overcome? Personal trauma, guilt, loneliness, and villains. 21: Does anyone die? How does it change things? Maybe, maybe not, you’ll just have to wait and see. 22: Which character would you choose to be your friend? Who would you not get along with? Pyro would probably be my friend. I don’t think I would get along well with Crossbone. (Even though Crossbone is such a cool guy.) 23: If any, what weapons are used? Certain people have natural powers given to them as a blessing from the goddess. All birds can transform their arms into wings and back. 24: How does your story differ now from when you first started making it? It’s changed majorly. It used to feel more like a Naruto rip-off 25: What’s something interesting about your story that wasn’t asked about here? It’s gonna go hard.
