CHAPTER ELEVEN: The ride home. I gasped. “This is your car?! Its frickin cool Randy!!” I tell him, excited to get in. Randy grinned. “You wanna drive?” He asks in a sing-song voice, tossing me the car keys. “I dont have my license though…And I'd hate to ruin your car.” I tell him, handing him his keys back. “Good girl. Good job for following the rules Cil.” He pats my head. My face flushes. “Oh, I forgot…I also told Jackson I would drop him off…” Randy says, pinching the bridge of his nose, annoyed. Just then, Jackson ran to us. He groaned when he saw me. “Dude- For real? Her?! She’s annoying! And bossy!!” Jackson complains to Rusty. “No I'm not!” I object. “I told her I would drive her, so deal with it Jackson.” Randy tells him, slipping his hand in mine. I blushed. “Fine.” Jackson groaned, opening up the backseat door. “Ill even let you sit upfront.” Jackson grumpled to me. “Thank you.” I tell him, holding back a grin.” All three of us got into the car, Rusty dropped Jackson off first since he was the closest. “So, When did you move here Cil?” Rusty asks me when Jackson left. “Two weeks ago.” I reply, “I'm from the big apple.” I add. “Really? I lived there a few years ago.” He tells me, grinning. I gasped. “Cool!” I say, grinning back. “I used to live in manhattan.” He tells me. “I lived in Brooklyn” I say, looking down at my ring which I had gotten from my mother before she died. “Nice ring. Did your boyfriend give that to you?” Randy asks me, glancing over when we got to a red light. “No…I'm single, i've always been single.” I sigh. I could tell Rusty was happy about that due to his smiling. “Then who gave you that ring?” He asks. “It was my mothers, She erm- she passed away two years ago.” “Oh..I'm so sorry.” Rusty says, barley over a whisper. We drove in silence until we got to my house. I got out first, gently shutting the car door. “Cilla- I'm sorry for mentioning her mother.” Rusty tells me, getting out. I shrugged, walking up the steps of my house. CHAPTER TWELVE: Griffin met Rusty I knocked on my door. Rusty and I heard someone running to the door. I sigh, I knew it was Griffin. “ONE SEC!” My brother yelled. Randy was about to say something, but then got interrupted by Griffin. My brother was wearing my Backstreet boyz concert shirt. “GRIFFIN XAVIER-ROBERT THATCHER! TAKE OFF MY SHIRT RIGHT NOW!” I yelled at him, about to flick his head before I remembered Rusty was next to him. I groaned. “Ah, you’re the boy who drove my sister here.” Griffin assumed. “You’re right Cilla, he is cute.” He continued to embarrass me. I buried my face in my hands. Rusty stampers. “T-t..thanks Cil-” Rusty stuttered. “Any time.” I mumbled threw my hands. “Please come in, I'm sure father would love to meet you.” Griffin tells Randy. My jaw dropped, Griffin can embarrass me but getting Father home early was too far. “No!” I blurted, “I mean…I'm sure Randy had other plans.” I told my brother, slipping my number into Rusty’s pocket. Randy nods. “I do..I told my Mother I would be home for supper.” Rusty tells My brother, he bid Griffin by and was about to kiss my check. I dodged the kiss. “It was nice meeting you Randy!” I tell him, clearly embarrassed about what I just did. Rusty shrugs then took off in his tesla. “He’s a good kid. But that kiss on the cheek was too far.” Griffin said, taking off my shirt. "BRO! WHAT THE HECK?!" I yelled at him.
