Hola 1: What story will you be using to answer these questions? How would you quickly describe the storyline? I’m using The Misadventures of Skittles here! Crack summary- Quirky girl breaks racism, shyness, and demons Real summary- Skittles, a very shy and self-conscious but talented mage, goes to the Lumis Academy for Young Witches and Wizards (a.k.a boarding school) and fights demons while working to overcome some demons of her own :D 2: What inspired your story? Maybe a bit of Harry Potter, those Halloween Google Doodles with the black cat, and a short film called Young Alchemist? It's almost all mine, though 3: Does it take place on Earth or in a made up land? In what time? It takes place in an AU of the modern day where anthro cats have replaced humans, the gods are real, and magic is a thing 4: What’s a favorite place in your story and the events that happen there? The Academy! That's where everything takes place lmao- 5: Who is your protagonist? What is their mission? Skittles! Her goal is to make it through school with straight As while fighting demons and not disappointing her friends/family 6: Who is the most underrated character in your story and why? Honestly, idk because I haven't shared it yet 7: What two characters have the most interesting relationship (good or bad)? I love Skittles and Stella (they're so cute together), but Chai and Stella have a super interesting/complicated relationship 8: What are the conflicts of the story? Do you have villains? There's a couple of conflicts! Chai seems to be hiding something, there's demons involved, Skittles keeps getting bullied, classic school stuff like failing a test, and Skittles and Stella have so much romantic tension it isn't even funny 9: Which character is the most misunderstood? All three major characters are pretty misunderstood, but maybe Stella? 10: Is there a character the most like you (or even based off you)? What qualities do you share? Skittles, for sure! We're both introverts and share the closest personality types (I'm an INFP, she's an INFJ) 11: Is there an animal sidekick? ...Kind of? Some little pit-fiend, I think 12: Who or what acts as the comedic relief? No one in particular 13: What is the underlying message or moral of the story? I don't really have one, maybe it's that you're stronger than you believe? 14: What are some symbols or hidden meanings you have placed? Butterflies appear a lot, but I'm not sharing why :) 15: What genre would you consider your story? Fantasy and coming-of-age, definitely 16: What type of media is your story (book, animation, movie, play, etc)? I'd love to have it as a comic or maybe a book 17: What’s a song that matches an event or character in your story? Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land! Not sharing why here, but uh it fits 18: Is it a cast of people, animals, or both? Animals that act as people 19: What’s something funny or ridiculous that happens? Humor is everywhere in many forms (if you've ever been on the incorrect quotes generator, several of those apply to my sillies) 20: What’s the biggest obstacle your protagonist must overcome? A distinct lack of self-confidence 21: Does anyone die? How does it change things? A few minor characters die to help start the plot because there's also a slight element of mystery involved 22: Which character would you choose to be your friend? Who would you not get along with? I'm choosing Skittles, I think we'd get along fairly well but I might be a bit overwhelming to her :'] I don't think I'd get along well with Nox, one of the bullies. 23: If any, what weapons are used? Swords, magic (especially wands, but also musical instruments), hand-to-hand combat, and (once or twice) improvised weapons like a frying pan 24: How does your story differ now from when you first started making it? Skittles is less annoying and she doesn't have a stutter, Stella exists, and Chai has a secret and isn't a sabertooth 25: What’s something interesting about your story that wasn’t asked about here?
