X without moving side to side shoots projectiles, all of which are very different in style. Only the snowman's X attack goes through walls. Z while moving to a side deals no damage, and instead increases speed. X while moving to a side deals damage. Z and X at the same time turns you the default background gray, so you can camouflage in some places and not in others.
