gave up answering this project lol. imo it's kind of a shame that this project was tailored to books (and stories with a clear plot structure), most of my stories don't have "plots" the way books traditionally do. 1: What story will you be using to answer these questions? How would you quickly describe the storyline? > the respite!! > unfortunately it doesn't have much of a "storyline" (there's a story but it's definitely not in a line), and the most general description i can give is in question 3 > (look even if i wanted to use club house, it also doesn't have much of a structure. its conflict doesn't resolve.) 2: What inspired your story? > saw a bunch of roblox "weirdcore" games, wanted to make my own 3: Does it take place on Earth or in a made up land? In what time? > it takes place in a different world in an alternate timeline. the respite is its own universe, where people from all sorts of different universes come to rest. (that being said there are characters who come from earth.) > who knows what timeline specifically. it is beyond our world. 4: What’s a favorite place in your story and the events that happen there? > the respite itself!! everything happens there. 5: Who is your protagonist? What is their mission? > n/a. today i realized i write a lot of stuff without protagonists, but technically everyone is the protagonist of their own story. 6: Who is the most underrated character in your story and why? > define underrated?? not many people know about my story so currently Everyone is underrated > in terms of who gets the least attention (from me) i'd say uhhhh mycelium. "rice who is that" exactly :) 7: What two characters have the most interesting relationship (good or bad)? > hmmm lots of characters have interesting relationships... there's one i'm inclined to mention but i think i'll leave that one out for now. :) > i guess for now i'll start with the ones on the thumbnail - the one on the left is daze, a resident of the respite. the one on the right is lumina, her caregiver. what's interesting is that daze has a fear of bright lights. you can see how this might affect them considering lumina is a walking lamp. 8: What are the conflicts of the story? Do you have villains? 9: Which character is the most misunderstood? > like in-universe (by other characters) orrr..??? 10: Is there a character the most like you (or even based off you)? What qualities do you share? > uhhhh of course not why would there be HAhahaha (side eyes skyen) 11: Is there an animal sidekick? > no ?? none of the animals there are sidekicks 12: Who or what acts as the comedic relief? > nobody. there is no comic relief in the respite. > closest thing to that would be jay-peg 13: What is the underlying message or moral of the story? > there are so many of them. it differs from character to character. > but since the overall story revolves around trauma and stuff so the message is something along those lines probably?? 14: What are some symbols or hidden meanings you have placed? > the hidden meaning in the respite is that some of the characters are references to things i like 15: What genre would you consider your story? > idk i don't really define my stories by genre. perhaps slice of life? just a really messed up kind 16: What type of media is your story (book, animation, movie, play, etc)? > game <3 at least that was the intention. i don't know anymore. 17: What’s a song that matches an event or character in your story? 18: Is it a cast of people, animals, or both? > both, neither, anything in between and beyond. everyone is there 19: What’s something funny or ridiculous that happens? 20: What’s the biggest obstacle your protagonist must overcome? 21: Does anyone die? How does it change things? > hahaha > most of them die. although in a way, none of them do. 22: Which character would you choose to be your friend? Who would you not get along with? 23: If any, what weapons are used? 24: How does your story differ now from when you first started making it? > uhhh it was originally really boring LOL 25: What’s something interesting about your story that wasn’t asked about here? > everyone here has a tragic backstory
