I just want to state that I respect Katie, and that I quite adore her art. Katie is slowly, but surely, becoming one of my favorite artists. Her OC worlds are fascinating, colorful, and just all around eye-candy. I discovered Katie, of course, through Fundamental Paper Education, something that peaked my old interest that stemmed from BBIEAL. It was like... a weird version of a nostalgia trip, just without the BBIEAL fandom itself. Anyways, what I'm getting at, is that I am a fan of Katie. }} {{ If you have been active on [Bird-app-that-got-renamed], then you're probably aware of what is happening to Katie and the fandom. I have not been on the app for a while, but received the info from many of the projects on here, ItzRo's YT vid, and by some of my own research. In case you are unaware, Katie is quitting making some, if not entirely, FPE related content. This is sorta due to the fact the fandom has gotten super toxic, content farms ruining her OCs, 'certain' artists drawing stuff of the minors, etc... }} {{ While I respect her decision to do this, I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. I feel as though that the fandom could've thrived, if it weren't created in this period of the 2000's. I also feel as though it would be wrong to continue to roleplay, draw, and create OCs and stories for the canon characters, but the problem is... I don't want to move on just yet from this fandom. I don't want to disrespect her. But I literally haven't had this much fun creating stuff for a fandom since my Zardy's Maze phase. Me and my BF have OCs that make up their own story within an AU, I literally /was/ making a Circus AU, and I grew to improve my style through trying to mimic her's for fun!... }} {{ It's a massive shame.
