In game: WASD to move, click to shoot, E for ability 1, Q for ability 2 abilities menu: E to set ability 1, Q to set ability 2, The shop: The list is small, but will tell you the price of each upgrade. the prices are numbered by upgrade horizontally like reading a book. Abilities shop: The list does the same here. Debug: I to activate debug, Z is loadsamoney, L opens the level variable. The level variable is unfinished so I redid the level select so that it shows on the death screen. Also, the currency should be fair now. used to be 10 score for 1 currency and now it's 2 score for 1 currency. you're welcome to whoever plays this.
OLD DEVLOG: V 0.1: I have decided to start development of a new game. it's going to have a spaceship that shoots other spaceships basically. I have worked on implementing the basic mechanics. and my sister has decided to draw the ships. I like to call the enemy ships "kamikaze ships" because their main goal is to crash into you. V 0.2: came back from yesterday. I have added a shop. I worked a while on this to get it working. but now there are basic upgrades. and something to work towards to in the game. I haven't added any caps on how high the upgrades are supposed to go. need to do that. V 0.2.1: added a debug mode for myself. and I added caps on the shop. V 0.3: now there are more enemies. the enemies give more points than the kamikazes do depending on how hard they are to take out. made some slight edits to the shop. V0.3.1: adding a few power ups. I am going to implement them into the shop with some new menus soon. made some edits to enemy AI. I have added music too. V0.4: added the abilities shop. made more variety in the kamikazes like how there are with the drones. probably will have to balance that out eventually. added a level function. but there is no menu for it yet. started debugging a bug in the ship's control feature. I know why the ship is drifting the way it is. but I haven't found a definitive solution to it that does not screw up the ship's core movement. maybe next update. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scrapped plans for future updates: I wanted to add levels. just a ship to upgrade is nothing to work towards to in a game. more enemies. the kamikaze ships aren't really much. but they will be the common enemy most likely.
